Article: YCLSA to boycott Pick n Pay

Communism? Wow, people actually support that failed ideology? Idiots.

Oh, about their boycott? Nobody cares... why is this even news?

The Young Communist League of SA on Saturday said it was supporting a call to boycott Pick 'n Pay.

"We are disappointed that Pick 'n Pay has not heeded the call not to trade tomorrow [Sunday] in honour of the late president Nelson Mandela," spokesman Khaya Xaba said in a statement.

With this boycott, I imagine shrinkage will be down.

AFAIK the employees are volunteers working to support charity. If anything the boycott is the bad thing happening here. Silly commys.

Whenever I see any statement or anything about these idiots I think of this definition:

"A communist is someone who has nothing but he wants to share it with you".

Communism? Wow, people actually support that failed ideology? Idiots.

Communism will always find support amongst dumb, lazy, self-entitled leaches, with no marketable skills. They want everything for mahala, while [-]everyone else[/-] the white man works his arse off. This is what happens when you **** with natural selection.

Very sad

I won't go to buy anything tomorrow.
I don't want to honour a terrorist.

So the concepts of reform and forgiveness for past acts doesn't exist in your world? That acts done or supported decades ago will always condemn you no matter how much you change? That all the good work he did in South Africa and around the world is absolutely meaningless and counts for nothing? That the millions of young people who take him as a role model for how to emerge peacefully from a situation that appeared to only have a violent ending and change their own lives as a result count for nothing.

You are a sad, sad person if you truly believe that and I'm glad there are only a few of you around.

People can and do change and he spent the last years of his life making up for the possible sins of his early life.

don't BS

he didn't do anything to change my life "good".
he didn't purpose to change any life on this land to be"good" neither.

you may ask him did he really wanted white and black to live peacefully in South Africa, the honest answer is "NO".

don't be stupid to believe he was a hero or great person on earth, even some idiots compared him with Jesus. F off!!!
his only vision was to free black anc people. NOTHING ELSE. The reason he did after his released that was because he had to do it. he had no choice. He didn't want to free white people, you may see it why he created the commission of reconciliation. he can't revenge to white not because he forgave white, it was because he couldn't. the whole world was watching him and the anc. it was not the good timing. after 1998, what he did? he had no purpose to "fought against black domination", what he did before 2009 election? in your memory, did you ever remember he said "if anc is not working for the people, I will pull anc down!!!" or something similar?

don't tell me how good he was, he was just no different to mugabe. !!!!

Hello they're part of the ruling alliance of this country.

I bet Madiba himself wouldn't care if PnP traded or not. His entire legacy has rotted under the current leadership.

But not the previous leadership with it's HIV policies or Mandela's own administration with the arms deal

Fck but there are dumb people in this wonderful country we live in

Btw, who is the YCLSA?

Formed in the 20s, disbanded in the 50s and reformed in th last decade. Joe Slovo was a member in his youth supposedly.

Actually PnP's idea is better than all the other shops. AFAIK, they donating all the sales made on Sunday to charity.

Exactly bunch of idiots trying to run this country. IQ smaller than their show size.

the YCLSA has nothing to do with youth and is ran by bunch of old fat selfenriching fat cats, like previous small boy they still just making noise.

That's because you're too stupid to realise exactly how much he did change your life. You and your ilk who will moan online incessantly about how terrible things are in this country don't even see the irony of the fact that under this government you have the freedom to complain. Whether they listen is another matter, but at least being critical of the government won't land you in jail or get you labelled a traitor.

If you were a woman, at least in terms of the law, you are now actually a full human being who isn't subject to the whims of her husband. Something the old government certainly didn't allow.

And as a gay man, I now have the right to be treated fairly, to marry and to be free from homophobia in my everyday life.

If Mandela had been a man of hatred and anger, it would not have taken much for him to spark a violent revolution in this country. There were many people yearning for blood. But the man chose transition the country as peacefully as he could.

So go on living with your head in your ass, you are a sadder human being for it.

Snip garbage

So go on living with your head in your ass, you are a sadder human being for it.

Unfortunately or rather fortunately not as sad and pathetic as you?

As for this..

If Mandela had been a man of hatred and anger, it would not have taken much for him to spark a violent revolution in this country.

We will have to see what the future holds now that Madiba is gone and his legacy as well as his envisaged rainbow nation in tatters!

Oh ***** off YCLSA! No one gives a rats ass about you.

No one cares. I for one am getting sick of this Mandela memorial that's being fleeced by every Tom, Dick and harry for political or commercial gain.

I bet Madiba himself wouldn't care if PnP traded or not. His entire legacy has rotted under the current leadership.

My point exactly!
