Article: Zuma must stop dodging questions: DA

A complaint will be lodged with Parliament over President Jacob Zuma's failure to answer parliamentary questions, DA parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko said on Friday.

Four of five questions -- which had now lapsed because they were not answered in time -- related to the Nkandla scandal, she said in a statement.

How do questions "lapse"...

The President has a legal duty to answer the questions put forward in parliament does he not? If he doesn't do so, surely he has broken some kind of law?

You think he cares?

I know the reality is that he doesn't care..

But I just find it odd that the other parties aren't jumping up and down about it.... its as if there is no mechanism (even if its ignored) that is meant to force parliamentary members (including our useless President) to answer questions put forward to them.

There is but one mechanism that will cause someone in power to take responsibility for their actions. It's called ethics, of which Zuma has none. He has SAPS and the SANDF on his side, what is anyone going to do? What CAN they do?

All you need to take over a country is the armed forces and police. Once that is done, it's game over.
