I like his argument.

Mine now goes: I tried to pay my taxes via sarsefiling, but as there was a blackout at the time I couldn't connect, so I fulfilled my obligations.

A leader would make it his/her job to address the various issues troubling the public to the extent that government spending, government corruption, government non-delivery are.

A leader would speak to his party whip and request an opportunity to address parliament and to take opposition questions, if not to answer for mal-doing, but then to offer argument to dispute it.

But then the anc doesn't have any leaders.

Lets just imagine for once he is innocent in this debacle.... (that he is not)
Would a good leader not come out the second day this scandal hit the media and come out with a plan to correct this and set the record straight?

No from day one it was that the public lied to the no.1 did not know to what ever else excuse they could come up with(must say the best one was, that only the intelligent people are bothered by this scandal)

The biggest issue I think we have in SA is accountability, if we had that we would have solved half of the problems already.
