President Jacob Zuma is not side-stepping his duties to answer questions in Parliament, presidency spokesman Mac Maharaj said on Tuesday.

"The continuing statements by political parties that President Jacob Zuma has avoided going to Parliament are incorrect and are creating a wrong impression," Maharaj said in a statement.
 
Should be easy for Zoomer to create the right impression. Just go to parliament.

100% correct, he is not side stepping, he's running in the opposite direction.

Well to be fair .. he's only been invited by the DA, opposition parties & Madonsela multiple times to come explain Nkandla.
 
He can't read. And doesn't answer his phone. It might be all four his wives telling him to buy wine and prawns.
 
So in other words, what we can take away from Mac Maakgeraas is that Zuma is completely, 100% avoiding parliament.
 
While I do believe that Zuma should answer questions orally in parliament, this entire "Zuma must account and he is not" is just political point-scoring rather than some actual genuine problem. Zuma barely does any work. 99% of questions can be asked to Ministers who would give the same answers that he does. Even then he still answers written questions.
