Mac and the rest know they don't have to convince anyone with any sort of education. His lies only have to convince the uneducated, voting masses. Try explaining to the average South African that foreign heads of state are not going to stay at Zumas pozzie when they're in town and they just wouldn't understand why not. Seems logical doesn't it? Especially to black people. And who are they going to believe? Their liberators or their former oppressors?
The ANC has a firm grip on the purse strings by mandate of the ignorant masses. They don't care what the educated minority can see.

I think half the problem is that these abuses are being pointed out by the "white" DA. Black people just roll their eyes as soon as the DA accuses the ANC of anything.

We can only hope people wake up to reality before the ANC steals everything.
 
And, Karima Brown is either an idiot or a whore. There is just no way an intelligent, educated person could believe this BS. Just no way. She's a government apologist with a vested interest.

Her derogatory remarks aside, dont you think she has point on the targeting though?

Looking at past Presidents, only Mbeki's private residence has been put under spotlights. There has been nothing to my recolection of the two popular Presidents' expenditure on their residences.

Seems peculiar to me. If nothing else to establish some context around the amounts spent at Nkandla and compare them to amounts spent at Qunu. I doubt De Klerk lives in rural area like Nkandla/Qunu so his costs would be much lower I think.

She's a Zuma supporter. There's a zapiro of her and some other analysts getting the Zuma shower. She even wrote an article protesting the portrayal. She used to be a very opponent of Thabo Mbeki.

I think De Klerk lives somewhere in the Western Cape on a wine estate AFAIK.

Lol. Well, to be fair, I wouldn't be too surprised if she was telling the truth. In which case I'd be willing to retract my original assessment of her. Although, even though I can forgive political bias, even in a so called analyst, she probably is a bit thick.
