How would you know its 50 light years though smokey, all you know is that there are now three moons and 2 suns hehe
Probably - Google is the best search engine in the universe. Also, it would help if you had an AMEX card. Accepted everywhere in the universe except on Earth...
EDIT: I see someone changed the tags... I'm not crazy - I'm eccentric!

I can see the headlines:
Coming soon to a theatre near you:
Star Trek Deliverance, - The Ring Tightens.
I sometimes wonder if the aliens are in fact just humans from the future, coming back for whatever reason? What if they lived on Earth before and left. Then after thousands of years they decide to come back and guess what they find? Us.
Fortunately our ancestors were very direct with mentioning they were not human.![]()
We can't really use any of our knowledge to fathom what Extraterrestrial civilization will be able to do.
Assuming the Extraterrestrial civilization have mastered wormhole technology, they could read the wormholes signature and just reverse it.
Presto and you back to Earth!
Question is, would you really want to come back?

Another question: Was time dilated when you traveled?
It would be cool if thousands of years passed while you traveled, and people on Earth find you via technological development![]()

To give you guys an idea of the distribution of galaxies see here. Each dot there is a galaxy, not a star, each containing billions of stars, each star system possibly containing planets... that should give an idea.
The original link is on my home PC. If I remember correctly it's a redshift survey of the galaxies (not background radiation).
