Hi guys, general question about apps. As I understand it in the Apple ecosystem if you pay for an app that app is linked to you account not the devise. Does the same apply to the Android set up or do you have to repurchase apps that you have bought for your phone and want to use on your tablet too?

Any apps purchased are linked to your account and can therefore be downloaded to any device that is linked to your account :)

Great, that makes parting with some cash on apps a bit easier

Not resisting to play with it when you first get it is almost impossible. I wonder if that's what it's like when a catholic priest gets a new altar boy? How long can he resist playing with him?

In the second vid the guy gets brave with a car key on the screen...

:)

Cool. I'm impressed by how smooth the UI is in these videos. Honeycomb really is a stylish and beautiful interface when it runs properly. Although, yeesh, did you see how laggy the Zinio app was in the first video?

On that note, I have another question for you lucky Transformer owners - can you remove the preinstalled applications without rooting the device? I don't get any use out of Layar, for example, and it always annoys me when the manufactures install apps like these as system apps so you can't get rid of them.

Oh wow... look at that, you can not remove them.... oh well its not like they are running or using up resources... I would not have noticed if you didn't mention it.

Mine is rooted and cruising. My mates are waiting on XBL to play BlackOps but I cannot tear myself away from this thing.

I have quite a few chinese tablets that have served me very well. I had no idea that spending the extra for a brand name tab would make such a big difference. I am wetting myself here :)

Only problem is now my wife wants one.

LOL, pity I dont :(

Yeah I just find that some things is not worth saving R20....

Just on the Office one You might want to check out documents on the go instead... I still find Quick office a tad lacking. Pity I didn't check quick enough to catch the 15 min refund window.

Just a word of advice.... Dont use the pre installed Zinio, it Sucks

Rather install the proper one from the market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.zinio.mobile.android.reader
I must admit I was surprised to find local FHM, You and Huisgenoot in it nevermind Landbouweek.

For the none tablet owners you can check out http://za.zinio.com/ to get a taste of the magazines you can subscribe or buy single issues

Things like this is gonna make paper die one day....

Hi guys, can one plug a 3G dongle into the device and use it to surf the web?

haha

Awesome, I'm feeling anticipation again. Yes the TF apparently does not benchmark very well compared to tabs like the xoom. For some reason Motorola presented android slightly better than Asus. I still believe the TF has way way way more winning points than any other tab. Except of course when quad core tegra3 comes which isn't too far away I prophesize... Hmm maybe I should cancel

=p
