Just to be clear - a factory reset means EVERYTHING gets wiped - back to the day I bought it with the exception that ICS will still be installed? Any game data etc would need to be transferred to an SD card?
Yep. You have to do some manual backups.

My GPS is working fine, check that it isn't turned off in the new quick action menu(Far right icon).
Ok, so I took the device in to ASUS and they replaced the main board. All looks ok now, except for some random reboots. I think that has to do with bad apps though.
I want to root mine too, once it reaches end of warranty. On another note - rooting - has anyone rooted theirs since the ICS update? Contemplating doing it
Was that at LetMeRepair?

This question has probably been asked already, but don't have time to sieve through all these pages. Are any SP's offering the Asus Transformer Prime on contract? Would love to get my hands on one.

you would rather want the infinity or such where the 3G and WiFi work properly.
ASUS Transformer Prime GPS Extension kit application
To our valued customers:
Thank you for purchasing the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime, and helping to make it the most popular Android based tablet since its launch in December 2011. We greatly appreciate feedback about our products from you, and we take this feedback very seriously. The response to the Transformer Prime generally has been overwhelmingly positive, but we understand that, in certain situations, the GPS functionality has not met some users’ expectations.
Free Dongle!
Although the Transformer Prime is not a professional GPS device, as part of our unwavering commitment to customers we are offering all Transformer Prime owners a free external GPS extension kit, called a dongle, which may help improve signal reception and optimize the user experience. We are pleased to announce this offer as part of our commitment to customer service, but it does not replace, alter or amend any existing warranties you may have. For more detailed information about this offer, please click on the link below. We also encourage you to contact your local ASUS customer support hotline directly if you are experiencing GPS related problems.
ASUS prides itself on delivering an unrivalled user experience, and we offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that our customers may have encountered.
*The offer will expire on 31th of July, 2012 (PST)
I don't know about you guys...
But I'm pretty sure my TF101 is lasting half as long as what it used to now with the stock ASUS ICS.
When I had the Honeycomb Revolver ROM it's like I was charging it once or twice every 2 weeks.
Was about to try the new Revolver for ICS but it seems like it's still in beta so I decided not to.
Anyone had another firmware update? Received notification on Friday. Update installed, hopefully it sorts out random reboots.
