ASUS EEE PC - 7" Laptop

Sorry all, but I’m coming into this so late, only recently joined. Please remember that EEE PC is basically an embedded machine, if you load the normal windows you might pick up some problems, I suggest you get a XPE build and load it if you want windows, the write back blockers on XPE will save the lifespan of your flash memory that is used to load the OS. I load the type of units almost daily. If XPE was already discussed here I apologies, I did not read all the posts.
 
i was just wondering something. i try and install either XP or Ubuntu or puppy on the EEE, how can i recover back to default OS ? does it come with an installation disc? what if i dont have an external CD rom drive ??
