Any one got an Asus EEE Transformer Pad?
What is it like? Does it work as well as the videos make it out to be?

Any nifty features specific from asus as well that make it more worth while over something like say, the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab?

Well I sometimes plug mine into my 40" TV(HDMI) in my bedroom and plug in a USB wireless keyboard and mouse to navigate and play movies from my server downstairs.

Also Playing Shadowgun or Shamurai 2 or Riptide with a PS3 Controller on the TV rocks.

What sets it apart from other tablets mostly is the fact that I use the included Splashtop to control servers at work with proper mouse and keyboard support. Also that its the only tablet I know that support MicroSD(Tablet) and normal SD(Dock) card.

That said, if you interested to get one, I would say hang on for the Prime models http://eee.asus.com/en/eeepad/transformer-prime/features

oh wow, i had heard about the prime models .... yeah, the big thing about this tablet for me would be the great extra functionality of the keyboard ... and the usb availability is also amazing

oh, and is there an expected release date, vaguely at all?

Just had a friend visit me with an ASUS Zenbook, and from what I have seen in the press the new transformer will be more or less the same finish.

All I can say is...DAM she is pretty, and add to that ICS this is gonna be one hot dam tablet.

Man the Zenbook feels and looks awesome. I can not wait for the new Transformers to come out.

Anyway look at following 2 adds..

Something tells me ASUS finally hired some decent people in the design department.
