It was a fight to the end with Botswana in 4x400, we get Silver but once again Koekermoer proves he is in a class of his own, I feel bad we were not able to get the Gold for him.

Still young should have a good crack at the World Champs and Olympics. Think we ran a NR in the 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m. Awesome stuff and if we had to loose glad it was to Botswana the stadium looked like a real vibe!

South African 5000m silver medallist Kyla Jacobs added another impressive result to her European season, claiming victory in the 3000m at a meeting in Belgium in 9:04.

The win follows an excellent run over 1500m just a week earlier, where she recorded 4:18, further showcasing her range and current form. Her winning time was also just three seconds outside her lifetime best of 9:01, achieved in 2023

Breyton Poole Claims Silver at Joensuu Motonet GP in Finland

South African high jumper Breyton Poole produced another strong performance on the international stage, claiming the silver medal at the Joensuu Motonet GP 2026 in Finland, a World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze meeting.

Poole cleared 2.18m to secure second place, adding another international podium to his 2026 campaign. His season's best stands at 2.20m, highlighting the level he has reached this year as he continues to compete across Europe.
