traceroute is different to ping
traceroute shows what routes the packets are going.
Here is an example:

On Windows you use `tracert` and on Linux `traceroute`.
The `-d` switch is to turn off DNS resolution.
The asterisks (* * *) means the routers along the way is filtering ICMPs
We did some optimizations and happy to report my latest amazing PINGs too:
