Hi,

I have just signed up for the 8ta 10Gb promo. Very happy with connection and speed. I want to create a wireless 'network' at home in which I can connect my 3g stick to a router and have wifi.

-3g Stick : Huawai E170

1) Which router would you recommend for this with?
*good speed
*good coverage
*good price (no more than R1500)
*multi device connection.

Im truly clueless when it comes to this so ANY help will be appreciated!!

It should be as simple as buying a 3g wifi router and plugging it in. Either with the sim card directly, or with the usb stick into the router.

Can't comment on prices... Check takealot.co.za out, or prophecy, or one of the online retailers.

Good luck

Billion have solid devices that will do what you are looking for, available from www.nology.co.za. I run a small office from home with Wi-Fi and my connectivity is 3G but im using a basic cheapy 5012g 4 port Wi-Fi router that cant handle the 3G dongle so it stays on one PC and all other Laptops connect to the 3G through that PC, it works OK without the expense of a 3G DSL router.
