Hehe, ja, it appears as if they have the AG's report on ENatis in their paws, or at least part of it. Must be a few backdoors left wide open in the system or else there is childporn included in the package hence the censure , hehe.

It seems our password guesses were way off line - according to the story in the other thread "one does not need a password to log on as an eNatis administrator"!!!!!

Interesting that your link brings up a legit-looking login, but the page is served by plain HTTP not HTTPS. Anyone got an ethernet monitor proggy?? ;)

This completely refutes Radebe and Mpofu's claims that the system is secure... :eek:

A proper system won't put such a page on a plain HTTP page...

Just wait... it'll be hacked. :mad:

Can somebody send this link to Beeld? They'll be extremely interested in it...


Oh, won't it be funny if the hacker will change all the car owner names to "Joe Soap" or somebody more fitting so that said person will own all the cars in South Africa? :D :D - though I won't commend or suggest it, there will be utter chaos.

That's just the admin password for the joomla adminstrator of the website - not the ENATIS system.

Ever heard of a cascading failure?

In this case, even this can be used to gain access to the core system if a hacker knwos what he's doing.

I'm not impressed. A high-risk system with an unsecured front-end... it is asking for trouble.

And no, I don't commend or suggest that eNatis be hacked this way.
 
can you imagine a hacker, deleting all existing drivers licences or learners licences...or better yet changing the reg details to show that the car was stolen.:eek:
