How much did the repair end up costing and what was repair process like, time to repair/hassles/teething issues?

It cost just over R40k, and took around a week, haven't had any issues since then. Not 100% sure whether it was worth it though, since now the car isn't worth much more than the cost of repairs + what I would've got if I've written it off instead.
