Audi test fleet with registrations ABC *** NC ??

Sunday morning at about 7:30 this whole fleet of Audi's, some with funky antennas stuck on them, blew past us on the R304 about 3km from the N1 towards Klipheuwel. All of them had registration numbers ABC ___ NC and some had their badges covered in duct tape (matched the silver of the car more or less). A few minutes behind them came a couple of Transporters loaded with tires and what appeared to be other supplies.

Anyone else saw them or know what they are up to? My guess is they departed from Cape Town early on Sunday and hit the N7 on the way to North Cape for some testing.

I think they were more annoyed by us, 20+ bunches with an average of 80 riders in them 2 minutes apart... :twisted:

They had some As, a few Qs, a single RS Avant and some Audi replica of a Lamborghini

My guess is that they were all there for the all new R8...

One of the cars with silver duct tape over the badge and model details seemed to be an A4. So it could well be.

I worked at a manufacturer in GP a few years ago, and a plate starting with ABC would be a dealer plate. Not sure if it's the same for NC.
