I was just wondering if any of you guys has one of these and if it works ok? What is the distance coverage? Are the sound and picure clear and/or do you get interference?

I need to connect a second TV on the other side of my house and this seems a better option than having to run more cables.

Thanks :D

Been using one for 2 years now, it works reasonably well. There are some problems if you have other wireless devices in the house. Most of the time picture quality is 100% and sound is fine too. Have had it through a concrete wall and through floors.

I used to have one - worked pretty well - occasionally it had interference and I had to change the frequency, distance was around 15min through walls.

15 minutes to get through the wall? Some serious walls you have ;)

Thanks for the replies! :D

Does this mean that i can get the neighbours free DSTV now?
If you can sneak in and get the transmitter connected to their decoder without them noticing, then you may well be able to! But don't tell them I told you to if you get caught!

always a catch ;-)

I use it, not very impressed. I am running through 2 walls, total straight distance maybe 6 meters. If I walk somewhere inbetween the "line of sight" of the units, the picture gets interference. Also, when I run my microwave oven, it is totally unwatchable. Microwave is about 6 meters from the "client" unit and 8 meters through a wall to the "host" unit. (It's not the microwave, a 2nd mirowave has the same effect)

sounds like my wifi at home, switch on the microwave or washing machin and my internet speed drops :)
