For what tasks do you use automater... I currently don't use it for anything, and wondering if I am missing out... but then again, I don't have any thing I do loads of times...

Automater can be used for just about anything and everything.
you can use it to run scripts, sequence of events etc. Automated process.
use Spotlight .. or help, type in your question and it will be answered.
