I'm not really a Windows guy, but from previous experience with XP, the answer is no!

Microsoft doesn't care if pirate copies become part of a botnet and stuff.... They are not "socially responsible" in that way.

You should be able to update all of your other non-Microsoft software, though.

I guess it depends on the exploit the crack utilise. There most definitely are some cracks for all versions off Windows capable of fooling Windows update.

I used a crack for a year while i was using a pirated version and i received updates just like a genuine windows package
But this year i actually purchased Win7 home premium 64Bit! Cheap and does the job.

It can and so far i have only found it to be working on the hazar 7 (1.6d) version for windows 7 x86 & x64.

"Windows 7 crack" doesn't mean much

Older cracks are blacklisted,as are their keys. The least likely to be stopped from updating version is using a Mini KMS activator.

I am in no way condoning the usage thereof
