Automatic Washing machine soap - which one and why?

I just buy a bunch of Omo pods when they're on special. Replacing the top loader with a more efficient front loader soon so hopefully they'll still be "compatible" because I have a lot of them left from the last sale.

We use Skip liquid. .. im a bargin hunter at times so i use to buy many bottles at a time when it went on sale while i was single.. spouse isn't into buying in advance so likely pays a higher avg price. Skip is costly it should be mentioned.. i think ita a premium one but it smells better than the others (omo? smells girly no idea) anyways she keeps me away form her grocery shopping so i try and buy things when i happen to see it reduced.

We have tried others recently too but i see her experimented yield the same result mine did years ago.. Skip works better. We also use Comfort softner

Anyone know wtf happened to Bio Classic?

I bought a box yesterday and it smells completely different. Terrible and cheap perfumy smell, and it's clingy. Bio Classic had a nice subtle smell.

Omo/Skip/Ariel liquid detergent (whichever brand is on special. Comfort.

I have used Bio Classic for years. Happy with it and it is apparently good for the machine. Prevents build up they say.
^^
Did the recipe change though?

We only use pods in our two front loaders.

Clearly a very wise man. My wife also swears by it, usually buys it at Makro when they have a "Two for Rxx.x" special. The liquid pods left streaks on our clothes when she briefly tried them.

We’ve reverted to using liquids. Easier to administer an appropriate dose of detergent and it doesn’t get stuck in the door seals.
Stuck between the door seals? Jezuz dude....you supposed to put in a recommended scoop of detergent....NOT A CUP OF IT. Either that or you have a really **** machine.

I have a Bosch Serie 6 and we were talking about pods, not powders.

Try to keep up please :)
