My complex uses the cellphone intercom system thing so when someone is at the boom they phone you and you answer and press "9" to let them in.

As you can imagine I get quite a few of these calls daily, but as you have to have your phone glued to your hand to answer before they hang up I want to do this automatically, basically this:

Phone rings from "AAA Gate" (contact name) and is one of 2 numbers.
Call gets answered
Digit "9" is pressed

Here's a reddit thread:
That's ^^^ what I want but I have no idea what they're talking about.

What's the easiest way for me to do this? Android 10, Samsung S20 if that makes a difference.

so you just want to open for anyone?
kind of defeats the purpose of the boom?
any way I not going to get into it - but i assume you expecting x amount of people to visit you and don't want to bother opening - why not generate entry /exit codes daily and just hand it to whoever is visiting?

Doesn't work like that as below.

Codes won't work, I don't necessarily know who is coming. I get deliveries from multiple companies and multiple drivers.

The contact name (AAA Gate) is his gate intercom system - anyone can dial his unit (on purpose or by accident) and it will automatically open
not sure if he has the same issue but we have tons of idiots who can't dial the correct unit number end up calling us all the time.

The guards at the gate are the ones calling me not the person coming, the visitor tells them where they are going and security then calls me. I then press 9 to open the boom and print a code.

Sorry first post is a bit vague.

Lol that makes sense
the guard is there to dial
Job creation at its finest :)

Tasker App might be your best bet - not sure if what you need is there but it has tons of options

You'll need:

Then setup the profile like in the reddit post.

Autoinput simply won't click on "9", seems hardware locked down that you can only physically press the keypad.

This is a possible solution

Tried this and will see, downloaded the "9" tone and set it as my voicemail message, dunno if it will be good enough quality for the gate system to "hear"

Yay it worked! Just set your voice mail message to the DTMF tone (can download it all over) and redirect the number, I'm using Tasker but there's probably a multitude of apps to do this.

I looped the tone about 5 times, wasn't by my phone so not sure how quickly the gate picked up
