AVAYA and another PBX

Hi Ladies and Gents,

We have an old avaya system here at my new job, and need to expand the office by a few users.
The cost to do this from AVAYA is quite high, i would guess more than half of a new PBX.

Is it possible to get avaya to connect with another IP PBX?

I was thinking of setting up a 3CX box and then just implementing some sort of routing rule. Just not sure of licencing.

Depends what additional cards and/or licensing is required to hook it up to another PBX. It might be cheaper to rip & replace.
