Avoid Windows 10, PC tech support tells clients

From the linked full article it seems they don't want to support it becuase they don't know how to fix problems in it.
In other words, please go back to windows 8.1 (puke) so we don't have to fix new problems.

Windows 10 has been running nicely on both my laptops.

Sounds like the tech support consultants get little or no training on the company's new products and latest software upgrades.

Techs that don't know how to do their jobs!!!

Windows 10 is running perfectly for the last 2 months on my 6 year old laptop. Specs are: 1.7GHz Celeron CPU, 2Gb DDR2 RAM (most it can support), 120Gb SSD (3 year old spare I had lying around). The wife uses it daily, and if there was any problems, I would definitely have heard about it!!

These reps should be fired with immediate effect so that they could start a career in flipping hamburger patties in MacDonalds or Burger King.

Sounds to me like pure lazyness and shiat poor support.

Windows 10 is Godlike

Windows 10 definitely has it's problems but so has every OS that ever existed. I have had a few issues with 10 but nothing to serious. I can tell you now the only OS that I ever had to remove was XP x64. That was due to a lack of HP drivers printer drivers back in the day.

Looks like OEMs are too slow to adapt to the new way of doing things. If only Microsoft sold their devices here I'll skip them all together

Worst tech support ever lol. Windows 10 has worked perfectly for me since the day it publicly released.

Not had a day of trouble with Windows 10, but Office 2016 is a complete heap of crap right now. Trying to save VBA scripts force closes Excel and it's impossible to save a macro, while Outlook refuses to save domains marked as safe to download external content...

2 pc's on windows 10 and a laptop still on win 7 for unsupported stupid crappy vst (sylenth 1 to be exact) reasons.

I could've have guessed techs would struggle. They're not getting with the times anymore cause instead of paying 1 tech properly people rather employ 3 or 4 and pay them shyte salaries.

Mind me ask why you are running VB scripts and macros

I tell people to avoid upgrading to Windows 10 until thresh hold becomes available.

Purely because if they don't know how to troubleshoot a little bit, then they will come waste my time because I recommended that they upgrade.

Personally, I have been running it since release and it is fantastic. Needs a little spit and shine for some UI elements but nothing catastrophic.

I still use vbscript and excel macros for active directory stuff. Since exchange 2007 i had to start utilising powershell more but still prefer vb scripting for bulk management.

This is what OEM's tell Microsoft: "Fix this fu@k&n Windows or you are going down".
