Time for the farmers to fire all their workers and start striking. Let's see what happens to ANC town then. No more countries south of us to invade.

I agree, she never gave him a chance to respond. I think she deliberately provoked him. Many other people would've just taken a swing.
 
In the pic where you see him ripping the mike off, you can see her cupping her mouth. She was laughing,look at her cheeks and mouth..
 
Dunno if anyone else has suggested this as I haven't read the previous 10 pages, but here's what I'm thinking:

For political debates (as opposed to televised mud-slingathons), an Internet forum would be perfect.

Politician 1: Post

Politician 2: Rebuttle

Politician 1: Rebuttle rebuttle

Politician 2: Rebuttle rebuttle rebuttle

Moderator: Conclusion

Board is closed to public comment (but other threads can be created for public comment - derails could get nasty)

Sound like a good idea? That way, everyone gets their points across and there's no chance of interruptions. By allowing only moderators and the participating politicians/parties to post in the specific debate thread, there is no chance of ugly derailments, trolling or whatever other opportunities the anonymity of the Internet affords the web-surfing public. That can happen in threads created about the original debate.

Am I naive in thinking this may work? I know our Internet population is relatively low (and therefore the audience numbers are low), but in terms of 'getting it said' and finding out what each party's actual agenda is, in their own words, I can't think of a better way.

I think this week the AWB has shown they haven't learnt much in the last 16 years.. nor can they learn in 5 days, I mean REALLY NOW!! this is NOT the first interview where the AWB member has started throwing up a fit and threatening the people in the vidcon.. makes me lmfao at the people on this forum who have similar views because most of those people will defend his reaction.. reminds me of what happens with the other village idiot in Sa. ;)

ps. these two bumped heads in another interview.. or maybe it was just the lady as i've seen her before and visagie or a colleague who did the same thing representing the AWB. You can claim she baited him into it but she is quite brilliant and has a brain it seems. You see if you watched the news over the week-end you'd know the AWB had a vidcon with Al-Jazeera and this same lady + cosatu.. and the minute there was mention of farmers and farm workers getting the short end of the stick(figuratively wrt how profit is generated) the dude flipped out but since different locations they couldn't battle it out so he just said he will end the interview etc with some other threat. bleh.. and then you wonder why Malema is the way he is... i.e. she knew she was pushing the AWB's buttons and rightly so, showing his true colours so to speak. If he was clever he would have known how to handle it.

Krycor - watch the vid again, the 'poor defenceless woman' and Chris whatshisname put alot of effort into aggresively attacking / provoking Visagie (verbally). Visagie reacted a few times but was hardly a threat to anyone. Chris whatshisname got aggressive many times in trying to conjure up images in our minds of a racist white guy having a go at a defenceless woman, but watch them, especially the finger pointing when they were on opposite sides of the studio - don't you think Chris was just a little over the top to put it mildly?

Who threatened who btw - Chris clings onto Visagie and says "Touch me and you'll be in trouble". I don't think Visagie overreacted as much as ETV did period. It's alot easier to stick up for the AWB in that clip I'm afraid - no matter how little I think of them as a political organisation. ETV were far worse.
