SO as I haven’t heard any news, or scathing attacks on their service. I would like to know what the speed and reliability is?

Heard it sucks harder then most others...
 
I moved from my express + to the uncapped shaped of theirs. Lasted one month and then moved to Mweb. Maybe they sorted it out , maybe not as it was early days but I was getting throttled vs shaped on some days, and being throttled down to 30-40kbs during night or weekends was ridiculous. But that was a while ago so don't know current conditions.
 
I cancelled my account with them this morning.

For the last couple of weeks it has just been atrociously slow! I was told about three weeks ago that IS are doing upgrades to their infrastructure and that it would be done on the 11th. Yah, that was 11 days ago. I asked them about it again last week and I was told that it would take another two weeks. So basically I would have to put up with a useless connection for a month... and still pay for it!

Also, like Kosmik said, there is some heavy throttling of some sorts happening during the day. Before six I don't get anything higher than 25k/s on a download, and I have a 4MB line! After six, however, it picks up a bit. Still not remotely as fast as it's supposed to be (I haven't seen a download higher than 100k/s in weeks! :( ), but better. When asked about that, I was told that it's because all the business stop using their connections then. Yah, right... -.-

On top of the horrid speed, my latency in World of Warcraft has also been distgusting for the last week or two and I get these "pockets" of dead connection where it just DIES for about 15 seconds and then carries on again.

I've basically had enough of their ridiculous excuses and shoddy "service". I was with them for a very long time, but I have reached the end of my tether.

So, on to the next ISP! :)

ORLY, I have a axxesslite account asked the support if there is a reason for my slow international speeds. They said there was no problems on their side. Either they are lairs or their support staff has no idea what is going on.
 
Grub, that's their standard response, in my experience. I'd say about 90% of the time I phoned them to log a problem, I got the "Everything is fine on our side, phone Telkom" line.
