a pale blue dot.
The Axxess reseller system seems to have gotten a new change this month which isn't very client friendly.

As of this month, it seems you can no longer transfer data from one ADSL account to another, even though the option has existed for decades.
Now you may only transfer from two accounts of the identical size... which is a pretty ridiculous restriction?

Have a 50gb and a 500gb account, and the 50gb account suddenly has an unusually high usage for one month?
No problem in the past, just make a transfer from another account. Especially for a reseller, that sort of "data management" is the whole point of the system.

Now you're forced to upgrade the 50gb to a larger account, or pay exorbitant topup prices.

[Unfortunately in some areas ADSL is still the most reliable option.]

That really is ridiculous. I could understand not being able to transfer data to the free accounts, but this is just sad.

I mean.. how much are you paying for that.. can't you change to pure/naked dsl? that's truly uncapped like all DSL ISPs are now. It's quite affordable compared to the old capped DSL prices that you can't really get as a product anymore. They probably just want to push people to get Pure DSL in a way.

Usage is usually around 20-100gb max per site, so it's always made more sense to just have a bunch of packages instead of uncapped at each one.
They're definitely looking to push people away though yeah.

I have a 400gb account that i canceled. Sitting with a ton of data if anyone wants it.
