Axxess just surf uncapped

I bought the 384 just surf account. horribly slow. everything is shaped. there capped accounts are great though
 
I am not sure, but on their site their just uncapped 4mb is cheaper than their just surf uncapped 4mb account. why?
 
Here is why:
Downloads are shaped very heavily. I got my vodacom account by email and needed to download ecrypt.exe to view it. exe files are totally blocked. I had to use another account to get the download and view my vodacom statement.

p2p traffic was said to be shaped, but access to most trackers are totally blocked, rendering p2p more or less unusable.

Bandwidth overall is very slow. emails take ages to download, skype stutters like a teenager caught screwing, youtube cannot be used.

I have a 384k version and downloads (ftp, http, name it) are on average downloading at 5kBps (not 32kBps as expected from this line) so you are not able to use sip services such as voipstunt, voipbuster etc.

I uploaded a 40mb file to my skydrive. After abou 30mb the upload also slowed to a crawl so I had to let it upload while I went to sleep.

Overall this account is very crappy. You are better off buying the is offering for R196, or better the unshaped service from afrihost for R29/gig (with the odd 1/2 and 1/3 price topup offering). It would save you lots of frustration.
 
I recently bought it really sucks! It's Ok for browsing and emailing on a phone, laptop and iPod but downloading is a trouble! I can't use the iTunes Store, download music from websites (whenyou click 'download' it downloads nothing!) and use P2P (Peer to Peer) applications. Even surfing and if your lucky a download will be at 40-50kbps on a 1024kbps justSurf account. I completely lost it with Axxess
 
Hmmm, I wonder what their return policy would be if I cancelled it today? I just signed up last night.

It is called JUST SURF!
 
I sometimes wonder if South Africans can actually read past the first line of anything they see....

Just Surf's write-up clearly states that the account is NOT for MMS or P2P downloading and they actually advise you to rather use their next-up accounts ?!? Come on people, read before buying ???!!
 
account is call JustSurf not JustDL....

Itunes DLs will be slow or fail... They are DLs not surfing.

Maybe ask them to upgrade your account to the next one that allows DLs
 
My brother has a JustSurf account and loves it. But then again, he read the description before he bought.
