Well if you're not one of those 75% customers, then you'll be paying the "new" price on SAOL. [R350 for 10GB]
 
same as all the saix resellers maybe...way more than IS and they arent shaped...just higher int latency

R1,899 per month for 1 30GB account... ITS INSANE!!!!! IS must be laughing all the way.

...everyone is mentioning IS and maybe I'm being a bit slow here, but I've looked at the IS website and cannot find any info relating to ADSL pricing, etc - where would I find this info?

Hmmmm. Tomorrow wasn't worth waiting for.

Next year doesn't look any better either.

Ah well. Not really their fault. I think Telkom's new rates are simply going to put a lot of the smaller ISPs out of business.
 
Well at least they started with "we regret to inform you..." and not the "We are pleased to announce..." some of the other ISPs used. I for one will be cancelling my axxess account and the DSL line with Telkom. It's just not worth it, and I'm not going back to counting bytes and worrying about my cap and all that ****.
 
What's SAOL's site?

And btw, does this mean that Axxess are also implementing the 30gig local hardcap??
 
i would go sign with saol and soon

just dont use 30 gigs a month use around 20-25

no go and sign before you have to pay 349 for 10 gigs
 
okay saol, webafrica, axxess, imaginenet all hard cap imagine and openweb give you upto 30gig of local
