In November 2014 I upgraded my Combo (line rental and uncapped ADSL) with Axxess to 4mb, I had a bit of an issue as they dragged their feet, but it was done and I paid the amount on the invoice for almost 2 years, last week an 8mb line became available and I upgraded again. (I live in a small town in KZN, so please don't laugh at our speed). It was then that I learned from the guy assisting me that Axxess split my Combo without my knowledge or authority to separate line and uncapped accounts and were charging me R 101 per month extra for the last 2 years.
I have been trying for the last 6 days to get clarity on the refund but despite them acknowledging that they overcharged me they are only willing to credit me with six months.
"Unfortunately you had to notify us as soon as you realized that you are getting billed more
As per management we can only credit and refund you for 6 months"
So they seem to think because I never noticed that they were in breach of contract they can get away with it?
