Hi,

What speeds do you guys get on this package from Axxess on news servers- local and international. Also, hows gaming on this package.

I Just want some feedback, as im using afrihost at the moment, and if you use more than 60gigs a month they start shaping the hell out of this service.

I don't think you are going to get many answers until next month. Axxess don't do pro rata, so you pay the full amount for a day or a month.
I'm joining them for next month, I will let you all know how it goes.

Yep, I got my express+ acount until month end and then switching over to test. Will give some feedback then.

Hows the speed on the Axxess shaped uncapped? Can you watch youtube videos and play games?

I'm on AXXESS uncapped shaped 4 Meg offering at the moment. Last day today, thank goodness.

In comparison with MWEB uncapped... no comparison they suck in regards to shaping and contention ratio's and the feeling I'm getting is that there is no spare capacity on the network. News servers and torrents are shaped into the ground. Youtbe and XBOX live is useless during the day. Same goes for RapidShare. You dont see full speed 90% of the time. Save your money ... its shaped to hell.

I can think of much better ways to spend R496 a month and this is not it.

I dumped my Axxess account a while ago. Youtube is less than useless, astraweb never went above 250kb/s (and that was a rare moment).

For now I am waiting things out, will get uncapped again in 2 or 3 months time.
