my torrents are disgustingly slow even though it's got a large number of seeds. I stopped everything else to see how fast it would go but it never went above 53KB/s on a 4MB line with the avg being around 43 - 48 KB/s - very frustrating O_o
 
Afrihost is a no no right now, not to sure if they really shaping badly or what is going on but i have an uncapped 384k a/c with them, 100kb torrents max, and when i say max i mean max. browsing is bad... terrible infact.

With mweb now, working fine :) shaped during the day but not to heavily.

Man, remember when we were with Screamer? That was a joke... how things change. I'm with MWEB after testing Afrihost before the AUP change, couldn't be happier!
 
So... Its 1:30am and I check on my DL's on Axxess. 1kb on Rapidshare and 20-50kb on uTorrent on a 4meg line. I cant belive they restricting us so much on the weekend in the weeee hours of the morning. I hope Mweb keeps up the good work and dominates the uncapped world. That way, the other ISP's will have to offer at least semi decent quality on their products... Sigh, HD docu's have never been such a long wait.... Another failed weekend. I wouldnt mind so much if my Youtube and normal HTTP downloads were fast, but they all way below the sub 100kbs mark.
 
Just got this email from Axxess today -

Hopefully this will sort out the slow downloads we've been experiencing since this whole Axxess Uncapped thing was released.
 
Can't trust users.isdsl.net or axxess bandwidth usage.
IS says I have download 28GB this month on 384kb line, axxess says 1.5GB, my router says around 12GB. Either way, torrents went well for first week in April, after that little better then 10kbit after hours. Have cancelled my contract, moving to MWEB, 1 May.
 
Anyone else having issues with youtube tonight? Mine is super slow and buffers forever. HTTP overall is also slower than this time last week. I am starting to see a downhill pattern.

Youtube seems intermitent. Tonight is my first night on MWEB and its pretty rocking. Youtube works 8 times out of 10. When it does work, it comes in at full 428kbs/3.4meg
 
Im also on the axxess uncapped after 6pm my torrents rocking at 350kb/s to 412kb/s even with torrents that only have 15seeders my axxess experience so far is great :)

Interesting... How many GB are you on for the month?
 
been logged on for the past 10 minutes, my torrent has 740+ seeds and 1560+ peers and the download speed is 3kb average, not staying with axxess - 1 month is enough i think. i haven't done the 'gonna download anything and everything in sight' so not sure why I'm throttled so badly - my speeds are completely disgusting :mad: WA get an affordable uncapped so i can come back to you !!
 
Can anyone else backup ZimmY by saying they get very good speeds on torrents/news after 6?
 
I am currently getting 200-ish on astraweb. I don't use any torrents. But my HTTP is back to full speed and youtube is flying.

Feeling better about uncapped again tonight, last night was horrible.
