Im not doing that badly. - Steam @ 50kb per second and HTTP @ 152kb per second. - kinda the norm id say.
 
Axxess is shaping there business out the door! MWEB don't need to advertise at all. They actually laughed at me when I told them I was currently using axxess!! The lady said downloads shaped to 6kb and I couldn't even argue with her! Although I'm currently downloading between 0.0kb and 0.6kb. Roll on 1st May!!!! Shaping is needed but axxess has totally lost the plot. Even their unshaped capped accounts are a joke! All they are doing is increasing their own business by making it easier and quicker for you to reach your cap!!!
 
Earily in April the 4M uncap shaped is not bad. But since the secom story Axxess is not delivering even 1.5M speed on my 4mb line, even if http only! If they dont improve in May then I want my money back!

I have a IS capped Account and if I can reach 50kbs download I'm lucky. And capped account should be fast. So you are in fact getting better speeds than me!
 
Im on the Axxess Uncapped Express 384 (4mbit line) package. The problem is that my torrents are no where near what they used to be. Im getting around 40kB/s currently where i normally used to get around 350-400kB/s. It's weekend, come on Axxess!
Anyone else experiencing this as well?

yeah my international speeds are very bad at the moment, not sure what's going on.

My speedtest results are also fine (I think) - but latencies are insane. On top of that it looks like no one in Axxess office is answering their phone. WTF>

I been accidentally downgraded to Uncapped from Express today (after upgrading back to Express in April) and the speeds are horrific. 50-100kB on a 4meg line. :eek: And can't get hold of dear Axxess to rectify...
 
There is various spikes in my torrent downloading. Seeds and mainly Peers keep connecting and disconnecting. There is no consistency. Is there anything I could do to try and fix the situation? I think its unfair that Axxess charged me full price for this service this month.
 
My Axxess 384 has been top speed from this am. If this keeps up I will have to re-think my cancellation.

Don't forget it's a public holiday, that said I'm quite happy with a mixture of uncapped & lite accounts (except for the SEACOM fiasco of course) :)
 
MWEB 4MB is worth it/Axxess 4MB is not.

Just changed to MWEB 4MB uncapped and there is NO comparison between the pathetic 4MB offering of axxess and the 4MB uncapped from MWEB!! Truly guys it's worse than trying to compare dial-up to dsl! It's all I'm looking for, shaped is fine and necessary, all I wanted was a decent ISP! I guess MWEB is it. :)

My Axxess Uncapped is working fine since Saterday Morning - 53gb so far, Maybe it's because I am on express

I've moved over to MWEB as of the 1st of May. I used to get 2GB per day with SAOL pulling purely torrents. With MWEB (given that it was the weekend), I managed to pull 1.5GB+ per day. Given that it was the weekend and my torrents ran at around 10K during the day and 30K+ at night (SAOL was a constant 20K+).

I think Axxess uncapped 384 compares favourably with the MWeb offering :)

* pretty sure this includes torrent upload data (blue line on IPCop).

Is anyone else having issues with international Latencies ? I'm still not able to play any games what so ever - Pings are just crazy. Can game on local servers, youtube works fine now, Borwsing is fine, Skype is still a litle wonky.

I'm on the 4MB Uncapped DSL.
