I'm currently on the Axxess MTN "Max+" account with a FUP(Soft cap) of 1Tb and Im wondering if the performance of the Capped(Hard capped) product is better.

From past experience on Telkom uncapped accounts tend to suffer more from throttling and shaping.

Anyone with direct experience comparing the two?

I can't comment officially, but I would venture that the capped products should give you better throughput than the uncapped ones, given that the uncapped ones could throttle during congested periods. I clicked on that link that you posted, and checked with my own address, and I see at the bottom there is a top-up option? If I was a business selling this kind of a product, it would be in my best interest to give you the best possible speeds so you can reach that cap and pay me extra money.

@Afrigirl I might be speaking under correction, can you confirm this?
