Good day fellow forumites and those who don't identify as that.

I'm looking at getting into the Azure space. Specifically developing and integration automation testing into our workflows as most of it is done manually at the moment.

I don't know much about Azure from a technical perspective, so I'm not sure where I would start with this.

Ultimate goal would be to be able to design and develop the automation testing plans using a SQL database as the source of data.

Any suggestions on a good place to start with this? I have some SQL knowledge, though I'm no DB Admin or anything like that.

I imagine an Intro to Azure type course initially? Any better places to start or courses to look at?

Hi UrBaN963

Az-204 is geared towards developers & a good starting point.

I would start here as it covers a few automation methodologies.

For database-based automation, you have quite a few options, from logic apps to functions. It all depends on what you want to achieve.

Then Dp-203 is far more advanced and more geared towards data engineers.

The links below provide information on the exams as well as free training via Microsoft learn.
