B618 and B315 to automatically switch on and off

I have these two router the B618 and B315.
I need to use the B615 from 11pm till 6pm the next day then it should shut down. I need to use the B 316 from 6pm till 11pm then it should shut down.

How do i set these routers up that it automatically switches on and off ? 1533501869383.jpg
 
Directly on the devices,no. You can go software if it's a single machine or investigate the load balancing route. I bought a tl-470+ for that purpose.
 
Home a appliance timer switch, but you have to find one with two outputs: when one is off the other one is on. If you can only find a single pole timer, get additionally two pole relay, a small DiY.
 
These guys have given some good suggestions.
I've kept it as simple as possible though although its going to cost you some coin.

Set them up to turn off/on at respective times and have not had an issue since.
I couldn't be arsed with figuring out complicated setups etc, so I literally got 2 of these,set them up individually and off I went

Even without OP providing the exact mode of connection to the routers provided. I will say it's possible with following options:

1. As suggested by others a multiwan router to manage the connections
2. Timers/time based wifi switches to power off routers
3. My old method I used on the TP-Link MR200 and B315 combination:
Code: 
1. Connected the 1 LAN port of MR200 to the WAN of B315

2. Automated the B315 web interface via a [URL="https://gist.github.com/peace899/7149392cf66089e32266066c17b6d42e"]Python script[/URL] to switch connection mode from 

    a) LAN only( it uses the 4G network of the sim in B315) to 
    b) Dynamic IP (which converts the B315 to a normal wireless router, thus supplying internet from the MR200)
 
Geyser timer with normally open and closed contacts . When one off other must be on

The vid I watched seemed to suggest you can connect 2 different devices,it seems to hold its own time somehow because you can use the schedule function on a timer.

I know my TP link has to be connected to the internet at least once to sync up time. Been using it for 2 months alternating modems and it hasn't lost time yet

Did you ever get this right?
I've done the same with 2 timer switches, and connected both routers via ethernet to a 3rd wifi router so that all my devices that don't easily swap wifi connections can stay connected. Like my TV and security cameras, works most of the time but having issues with connecting sometimes.
