Hi Guys

What would you say is a reasonable amount to spend on a bachelor party?

I know it depends on the group of people - but what would you say is the expected amount?

Here they are looking at going away for a night - R1500 - is that reasonable?

What does that include?

Accommodation/travel/food/drinks.

Buy the groom a copy of playboy or something. Get them used to looking but not touching. Also, they'll probably use the mag in the coming years.

Please for fcksakes, dont do the begging at the robots in a ballerina dress for money thing, the muppets in Bloemfontein do.
If it makes you so uncomfortable then it makes sense to use the ballerinas. You'd pay just to make them go away :D.

Per person?
In my 20's no. Even now at 41 I would raise an eyebrow.

For mine we went to a place where they had a boma and some rooms with "beds". Bring your own pillow and sleeping bag. Perfectly fine for a bachelors party. Let the bride to be go for the extra soft queen sized bed with the 1200 thread count Egyptian cotton and complementary spa treatment.

are you paying for everyone? are you the best man?

Are you part of the bridal party (best man / groomsman) or attending as part of the wedding guests? This makes a difference for the cost expectations.
