Hey Guys/Girls,

I need to schedule a backup to run on the last day of each month. I have tried a couple of programs(freeware obviously) and all of them use the windows scheduler, which doesn't have the option that I need.

Software tried:
ntbackup
fbackup
cobian backup
syncback

Anyone know of something else I can give a try, which is free. ;)

From technet:
Code:
Lastday Syntax : schtasks /create /tn TaskName /tr TaskRun /sc monthly /mo LASTDAY /m {JAN - DEC[,JAN - DEC...] | *} [/st StartTime] [/sd StartDate] [/ed EndDate] [/s computer [/u [domain\]user /p password]] [/ru {[Domain\]User | "System"} [/rp Password]]

It is supposed to give the last day of the month via the scheduler. I don't use Windows at work, so can't test.

Thanks for the replies.

I love second copy, but it ain't free and the client doesn't want to spend money... FOOLS. :P
Will have a look at robocopy.
Currently I downloaded a systemscheduler and that seems to work, if I create a script to run.

what do you want to backup? And where to?

SQL backups to a USB disk.
