Backup power for ONT

Hi Guys

Does anyone know if a backup battery like the ones you use to get with the Huawei B315 will work to keep the ONT up. I have a UPS on my PC and Router bit it doesnt help if the ONT is down

Depends entirely on the voltage and current rating of the ONT.
Check the PSU for the ONT and compare that with the battery backup.
