Hey guys,

I currently have an Openserve prepaid line that I use as a failover WAN. It came with a Nokia all-in-one ONT/WiFi router, but it seems to be completely locked down and impossible to access.

Ideally, I’d like to change the default WiFi SSID and password, and also set custom DNS servers. However, the ONT seems locked down tighter than Fort Knox.

Even getting it into bridge mode would be fine - but at the moment, even if I plug my own router in behind it, I can’t avoid double NAT without being able to put the ONT into bridge mode.

I'm going to guess no but figured might as well check just in case anyone knows a way....

No documentation or quick setup info that came with it?

Access via an app?

ISP? - Openserve would probably need to remotely connect and change on your behalf if its their ONT

Yeah those devices are usually pretty locked down. Had a similar experience with the Frogfoot version of this plan

No documentation, pretty sure the ONT itself is a previously used unit they yanked from somwhere else. Doesn't even have Gigabit ports so going to be annoying for them to come change it if I ever decide to go >100mb with them.

I have the openserve app, there are no configuration changes that can be done on it (that I can see)

ISP by default with OS Prepaid is Telkom, so I guess I'd have to try getting in touch with them but doubt they will be of any help.
