How pointless. Wickets and overs count when you grade a team on how well they have batted to save a test. Runs scored is mostly pointless - it only counts for putting pressure back on the bowling and the amount of runs does not matter unless you are trying to win it.

I don't understand why people are wetting themselves over the runs scored. I saw India's number 9 was able to pick our top bowler for 6 with ease. Scoring runs got easier as the match wore on.

Another win for us was the fact that we bowled them out twice without Steyn being on top form, with Morkel out of the attack during the 2nd inning and with Tahir ineffective.
