WTF, and why go straight for the right hand lane if there is almost no cars in any of the left hand lanes. And then not even bother to look out for other cars.

I'd like to see public service being used as a form of punishment, where you have to spend time with victims of road accidents. Let's see how someone drives after having to assist at the morgue.
