Bad Driving thread

As if dealing with rubish driving in CW was not enough, this tool pulls some of the most insane solid line overtakes forcing on coming cars off the road. M CASEY WP, don't hide it, you used to be CW.

Not looking forward to CG drivers tomorrow. These two are the worst.

Webcam video?

I've gots a webcam and got some good stuff in the past.

Of late most people do the same repetitive stuff, which is boring. Waiting for new content.

I'm about to cross Strand Street on the corner of Burg Street just after 8am this morning.

EZ shuttle vehicle CF 236 532 jumps the robot as I am crossing the street, clear green pedestrian signal visible.

I was so close to the vehicle I drew his attention by hitting the vehicle, confronted the guy and he seemed more interested as to why I got his attention than him jumping a red robot in the middle of the CBD.

Use a hammer the next time :p A dent in his vehicle will make him think twice the next time.... or not.

that's exactly what was going through my head actually- I think Trevor Noah covered that scene recently in one of his clips, so it was fresh

I did that and the driver stopped and the driver threatened to beat me up. Then I informed him, beating up someone, in front of cameras, because he spoke on his cellphone without a handsfree while driving won't look good in court. He swore at me and got back into his car.

I will do it again. If someone nearly kills me because of bad driving, I'll damn well make sure I get his attention.

On a side note. It seems road rage on SA roads are increasing. I run more than drive and observe many more incidents the past year of road rage (and accidents) on my running routes.

This lady had 5 kids (at least) in this car. TWO on the passenger seat. Three (or more) in the back. None were wearing seatbelts. She was driving erratically.

So stop streets without 'Stop' sign on a pole, is that very common? Tonight I went through one moving very slowly as it wasn't well lit and I was following a very slow Tazz in front of me also turning left. The Tazz was covering the stop sign and it didn't stop hence I didn't even realise it was there! The guy on the opposite side hooted at me in annoyance for not letting him turn right. I thought I had right of way, not realizing there was a stop sign on the ground... My bad :o

Fun morning. Kia Rio FY43JTGP skipped the red robot when I had the green arrow to turn right. Hooted and he started cutting me off. Took a nice little video where he cut me off again and f#$% you so many times it would make Eddie Murphy proud.

On that topic. I'm starting to see more road rage in general.
