Idiot taxi driver with a full load overtakes at least 20 cars on the oncoming lane. This is a tiny suburban road with no servitude and no space on either side. Thus forces a car who was coming up to hit the brakes hard to prevent a serious accident.
What I don't get is why the passengers allow this behavior? How can hundreds of thousands of taxi users be scared of these thugs? Please can someone explain to me why do they put up with it?
A lorry carrying scrap metal drove into me while I was stationary at traffic lights, propelling my car into the lorry in front. The driver of the front lorry jumped out, picked up a bar of steel that had fallen off the lorry behind and started hitting my car, first the windscreen and then the bonnet. Glass everywhere and white powder from the airbags that went off. I could not get out since both doors were jammed. About a minute or so later, a cop van turned up (he had been following the lorry with the heavy load on it) and they had a fight on the ground. Eventually they (this driver and his mate) were subdued and loaded into a van. I called out to the cop to help get me out, but he just ignored me. After about 3 hours a fire engine came along and they prised the boot lid open. By that time I had already called a Netcare ambulance via ADT and got fixed up in the back of this, mainly spitting out the dust and bits. The Netcare guys also had to wait for the fire brigade as the cop prevented them from opening the car door. After about 6 to 7 months, I found that this same cop (who subsequently drove off) had been suspended due to "irregularities". The Netcare lady/paramedic said I should have waved a R100 note at the cop, maybe he would have done something. The car was a write-off
The driver of the lorry with the unsecured load on it ran away
/mutters about the guavamint, dragging in etolls and global warming... grrrrrr...
Report it. Not that anything may come of it I guess.

To the twat driving the silver X-Trail with registration GC20FN-GP....
You are a f***** idiot who deserves to be taken off the road. Oldish guy with a cowboy hat on and smoke dangling from his lips, passed around 4 cars and a truck coming down Sir Lowry's Pass and when he wanted to pull back in he realised that there was nowhere to go and thus almost caused a head-on collision with my vehicle with my whole family inside it. I had to slam on brakes and could not go anywhere as I had a truck next to me [2 lanes my direction, 1 lane his direction].
Idiots like you do not deserve to have a licence. Did you think all those cars and the truck was just driving slowly to p**** you off? You dumb bloody asswipe.
[rant over]
Two accidents on the R300 north this morning; both between the Stellenbosch Arterial and Van Riebeeck Road off-ramps.
You really have to be a special brand of idiot to make an accident on a straight, 3-lane highway, with traffic all flowing in one direction. But then again . . .
this **** driving its ford ranger (NPN reg) nearly caused a bad accident overtaking on a solid white line on a blind rise.
you drive like a po*s !!
i nearly had to go off the road to allow him back in to prevent a head on collision.
let it be known to the driver, i have another car, much bigger, heavier & more powerful than your dinky ranger, but oddly, sharing a similar sounding name.
should our paths cross again, you will not be as lucky

It's a challenge but they get it done nonetheless!
That's High Level Road. Eish!!!!
That's when you call the cops and report him as a reckless driver, saying that he's endangering the lives of other drivers.
And I suspect it might be CG not GC (our plates are only at like CP now).
This might be DA country but our traffic officials love their spot under the shade tree just as much as those in other provinces.
Doubt anything will come from reporting it but let's see. Will go report it tomorrow.
And yes, think the reg. no. was CG and not GC [fixed]. Only had a fraction of a second to take it all in, thanks.
