Bad Driving thread

In the mornings, riding from Pretoria to Sandton, I usually watch the cars moving from the left lane to the extreme right under the Olifantsfontein bridge. It's a common sight as the a-holes drive in the extreme left lane (which becomes the offramp) or in the emergency lane and then when they are almost under the bridge, the cross the solid line to get back into the flow of traffic moving to Joburg. The reason for this is that the cops wait for these a-holes just after the offramp, so they move quickly to the right to make it almost impossible for the cops to pull them over

I don't let them push in... Nothing grates me more.

Especially on a solid white line. This occur frequently on the N1-N14 split driving towards Krugersdorp, especially with heavy traffic. Special snowflakes doesn't want to be in the Q, they simply cruise on past and push in at the front.

Usually there's a cop car parked a bit further ahead, but not always, and it gives you a schadefreude when they pull off offenders who have merged over a solid white line.

N1 William Nicol offramp going to Bryanston, phuck my life. I get there as a good citizen trying to obey the low and all these "high and mighty" idiots rock up with their big ugly cars trying to push-in. Jesus wept i always lose it!

Red light jumpers on my morning commute.

This morning a Renault Stepway driver cut me off without indicating as we went around a sharp bend, causing me to brake. I hooted, only to have the driver brake check me. I almost got into a fight, but thought better of it. My response to his audacity was unnecessary, but that chop needs a lesson in keeping his passengers safe.

More people who shouldn't be behind the wheel of any vehicle drive BMWs than any other brand.

This morning, around 5:30 am at West and Maude in Sandton, bloody beemer hurtles straight through the (robotless, for the third day) intersection without slowing down at all.

Taxi was already in the crossing, trying to turn. Beemer missed taxi by inches. Just for once, the taxi was not in the wrong.

The taxify I was in this morning ran a red light. I was looking at my phone and suddenly I hear a commotion and look up and see that he ran a red light with me in the car. At least, I think he did. I didn't see him cross the line while it was red but I saw the robot was red with the green turn light already flickering, and we were still crossing. I think he got hooted at.

An old indian man in his bmw decides it's safe for him to suddenly brake in the fast lane on the R21 this morning, my goodness!!!! My little fiesta almost had a coma. I brake so hard forcing my car into a dive, I look into the rear view and the car is braking I think her brakes locked on her. This bmw guy then just drives off. She later passes me and pulls off to the yellow line, could see she was in shock.
After that experience I don't think I want to be driving in the fast lane anymore.
