I see taxi's being pulled over almost daily on my commute to work. Just yesterday there were 4 or 5 taxis nabbed for cutting the queue where the R27 splits to the N1 north and south on Marine Drive in Paarden Eiland.

That's the Western Cape, whereas here in Gauteng very few taxis and their drivers are stopped, either the metro police are not around at all or they are but turn a blind eye to the illegal things that taxi drivers do.

If they stop taxis, it's to get a small bribe instead of giving them a much bigger fine.

About 2m from Adderley. Jumping everyone using the bus lane and then blocked the bus as wanted to turn off before Adderley station itself.

Golden Arrow are the worst. Every week I see one of them basically pushing people off the road by cutting into gaps because they can't wait in line like everyone else.

They're all ex taxi drivers I'm sure.

This morning on the N2 there were over 200 taxis driving in the yellow line on the left and 1 bus. I passed 4 Traffic Vehicles on my bike filtering through the traffic. The officers just all sat in the vehicles in 1st gear. Not a care in the world. Why? Not on duty yet, on their way to work. Pathetic how I see traffic officials everyday 4 up in the car going to work or going home and they just dont care about the taxis breaking the law right in front of them. They only care when they are on duty. As for MyCiti authorities, well we will have to see what happens, probably nothing as usual :)

You can tell he's a genius because he thinks having his name as his reg number is witty.
Mind you, he's probably half right.
