Bad Driving thread

I get very annoyed with bikers because there are a lot of them driving with brights on, my night vision is destroyed when I check my mirrors, and I have sensitive eyes over the last year due to quite a few cases of sun blindness. Annoys me badly enough that I am quite often tempted to do so, but haven't yet.

This annoys me immensely as well. Wouldn't block them because of that though.

I so wish for a cluster of lights to braai the eyes of the bastard in front of me with rear foglights on at night.

One of these ubiquitous 4x4 LED light bars mounted to your front bumper (or roof) should do the trick nicely!

You can even have another curved LED light bar fitted to the rear parcel shelf for all the dumbasses that drive behind you with their brights on, totally oblivious to the fact that they're on!

I've seen more cars obliviously driving with their brights then bikes.
With cars I know they are there, so can adjust, etc. with a bike it's more "sudden" as they are speeding through the traffic, can't really avoid looking at their brights.

It's even worse if someone coming the other way refuses to turn their brights off, I flash once or twice then hold them on until I pass.
What irritates me A LOT is people who flick their high beams on just before they pass you so it shines into your eyes for a brief second before they pass you.

This as well, although in that situation I assume they do it because they really can't see.

I noticed the girl I'm sleeping with's little Kia doesn't have a dimmable rearview mirror, what an oversight.

Bike’s lights are higher than cars, so when they’re behind you, even on dipped beam they often catch your side mirrors and blind you.
i guess i've never really noticed this.
I've mostly experience good behavior from bikers - I can pretty much remember the one who was an idiot (i think i posted it here) he hogged the right lane refused to move (flashed him a few times) , I was about to overtake on the left when another biker came up next to him and smacked him on the back of his helmet :) :)

Witnessed a brake check go wrong last night.
Audi guy overtook on the left and proceeded to brake checking an old-timer in his Dutsun, which didn't end well for Mr Audi. I felt so sorry for the old man, had stopped to help out the old man, he was really shocked and scared.
The Audi guy was so angry screaming that the old man was driving slow in the right lane.
A little patience really goes a long way sometimes.
From what I saw the old man was overtaking a taxi but I guess he didn't speed up enough to do it quickly. Mr Audi just proceeded to lose it

Did the old man drive into the Audi? That arsehole should be flogged. People are just rude and impatient nowadays.

Those 1.3 Golfs did not have enough voom. I had one, but upgraded it to a 1.6. With the 1.3 gearbox still inside, and it accelerated like nothing. 4-speed pissed me off and eventually got a 5-speed.

Sadly, it got stolen.

I always wanted a golf, always as all my friend had one, then one day I got probably the worst one in SA, I hate them now, still love being able to outrun them, if ever you feel like a win just go drive around any area where there are coloureds they are always up for a dice.
