Bad Driving thread

I've become extra aware of red-light and stop-street jumpers, where especially taxis simply do not stop anymore. Irrespective of the time-of-day, people just don't even bother. The onus is now on the other guy to protect themselves and their vehicle.

And when you pass them and look at them the make sure to look straight ahead and not make eye contact, because if they pretend not see you, then of course you can't see them

I looked at one on the freeway the other night, he simply looked ahead like he didn't do anything wrong in his slow arse Kia. Guy wouldn't drive faster to overtake a truck, no one pays attention or gives a rats arse about anyone on the roads.

I'm so wanting to buy an old F150 or some or other LEDSLED, and re-enforce with steel girders front and rear. let anyone just try lane change, or stop to off load whatever, it'll just get ripped open. then just calmly state you have no insurance, sorry for you but you drive like a p03s.

Back in the early ‘80s a guy I worked with made the bull bar for his huge Chevy truck out of solid steel bar, for the same reasons you mention. Not all that much has changed in nearly 40 years, except that no-one makes their own bull bars anymore.

Steam piping is much thicker than ordinary piping, and can also be used.

R21 Corporate Park management have decided to start clamping down on bad road manners, namely not keeping to the speed limit, parking in the roads (causing a hazard for pedestrians and other vehicles) amongst others.

Found this beautiful example of bad parking when I went outside for some fresh air.

First clip, guy shoots across the lane to get to the off ramp.
Second clip, truck almost smacks into the back of a bmw.

I am so happy to be on pension and it's not necessary for me any more to be driving to work under these deteriorating conditions of lawlessness.

"Hey, there's wet weather! The roads are nice and treacherous, let's skip the red lights!"
