Bad Driving thread

Anyone drive down Hans strydom from the R55 in the mornings. Everyday people drive up the wrong side of the road toward the intersection at Old Johburg.

Today I managed to cut off some fat old bitch in a silver polo, a weak small man in a white E-Class and 1 Hi-Ace.

Getting tot he point where Im actually just gonna ram them into the barrier.

My problem with this is the passengers, they insist on not walking to a designated bus/taxi stop where this can be done without obstructing traffic!

That is really kak driving - if you manage to do that in a parking lot.

Hopefully he took a picture of the offending vehicle and left a note for the ranger driver. That is a scummy thing to do. Happened to a colleague as well, just bought a new car, a week later somebody bumps it in a parking lot and drives off.

Amen. They will have the taxi stop any place, just to save them that few minutes' walking... they have zero f*** if traffic gets blocked or somebody get rear-ended. Absolutely zero consideration for others.
 
For some reason there was a very strong EMPD presence on the roads between Boksburg and Alberton yesterday, I saw more than 15 vehicles driving around, wonder why.
 
Yesterday I was toddling along down a back road, and someone came from a side road straight into my road, head on toward me (i.e. wrong side of the road). I somehow managed superhuman reflexes, and swerved around him, and he stopped a metre in front of the car that was behind me. WTF? I bet he had to clean his seat; I almost did.
 
Traffic light chaos, reviewing the footage I think I jumped my turn, nobody knows what the hell is going on when traffic lights aren't working...

 
Traffic yesterday afternoon and this morning on the Wierda Rd (M10) in Pretoria seems to be back to normal.

From January until yesterday traffic was horrible.

have NFI what changed. Will have to see if it was just a fluke or not.

was easy breezy this morning. Good ride in. Have you seen the tiny guy on the scooter that can only go 50?

Traffic was surprisingly quiet on my trip to work this morning as well compared to the last few weeks. What changed in Jhb?

Can't be Coronavirus...

Yesterday morning the traffic was still sucky, but yesterday afternoon it was great. So something must have changed then, or even earlier still.

Wasn't there a bridge on the M1 (or somewhere) that was out?
