Bad Driving thread

Thousands of J'burg drivers think there is such a thing as a "Left Turn on Red" general rule.

Ha Ha

How dare you challenge their right to exercise between 6 and 9? o_O:unsure:

The only challenge is 80kg versus 2300kg which only ends one way ;) Exercise all you want, I am on the road most mornings running or cycling but I still manage to think.

Have the road rules changed during locdown or something?

Taking the N12 to work these days, its absolute chaos, nevermind the normal twats but the trucks that sit in all the lanes, even the far right lane but especially second from the right, and they don't move for anyone.

I think you have just forgotten how bad it is and always has been. WE get used to things quite quickly as human beings and things become "accepted" even if wrong.

 I gave up for a long time.

Then someone informed me that the switches can be pulled, Nice of Opel to make that obvious.
Hah. Work got a new corsa bakkie. Dome light, we're all wtf.
Until I figured out that you can pull the switch for the headlights out to switch on the dome light...

Maybe the owners manual is there for a reason?:X3::ROFL:

Wait, the switch for the inside light of the car was connected to the switch for the outside lights of the car?

VAG had a similar switch from at least the MkIV Golf/Jetta and the MkIV Polo platforms where if you had foglights the headlight switch pulled out to activate them.
That is same on our Sharan. Pull out for foglights.

But pull out the outside light switch for the interior light? Somebody clearly was in a sadistic mood.

I drove to Sandton yesterday, seen a lot of drivers not observing road signs, especially stop signs, nobody stops anymore.

Trucks have gotten far to used to having the roads to themselves. Even here in Durban, there are trucks in all the lanes.

I see the road terrorists are back in droves, flipping people off in cars, being aggressive and generally being childish

And cars. I'm so tired of people who dawdle along in the 2nd and 3rd lanes. I can drive faster in the slow lane!
