bad latency - mweb

Hey Mkultra..

Best way to check for latency is running traceroutes to the website/websites. It will show where the latency starts.

this morning internet was fine but now it is slowing to a crawl again. I wonder if this has a something to do with it http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...ngestion-is-causing-ADSL-problems-says-source , that is where I learned to do the tracroute on another note; what is the best ISP for gaming? I heard a few good things about openweb but as far as I can tell they don't have a buy once off option.

Looks like a classic example of exchange congestion.

Unfortunately not. The problem lies with Telkom.
